Oh man!!! It's been a really long time since we've updated our blog and TONS of things have happened! Last time we wrote on here it was November and now we've passed Thanksgiving, Christmas and we've started 2010! First I'll write a little bit about our Thanksgiving that we had. We started off Thanksgiving at my parents house with an early dinner, it was a way good dinner and it was really awesome to have my aunt and uncle Shauna and Verl there to celebrate it with us. The food was awesome that we ate, the turkey was way good and the stuffing was also way good, stuffing is one of my favorite Thanksgiving foods and everything else was really really good too! We had a really good time just being able to talk and eat all the good food and be thankful for all that we've been blessed with.

After the dinner at my parents house we headed down to Cynthia's parents house and started our Thanksgiving down there and that was another way good dinner and we were able to have some of the Officers over and that was awesome to have them there to celebrate with us as well since they are pretty much family to us. It was awesome to be able to have 2 different types of turkeys for Thanksgiving! Both the turkeys were really good and all the foods that we were able to eat that day were amazing! It was awesome to be able to celebrate Thanksgiving with both sides of our families and be able to spend it with the ones that we love so much! I was Way Thankful this year to have been able to find Cynthia and be able to get to know her and have been able to fall in love with her and be able shop around for the Engagement Ring and be able to find the one that I thought was Perfect for her and to be able to ask her to Marry me in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and to have her say yes to me and then to attend Temple Prep classes with her and then be able to prepare for our wedding day and have all the love and support from our families and be able to get everything ready and then be able to have the wedding day finally get here and be the first sealing to ever take place in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and be able to have continued on in our marriage and pass through all that we have so far and be able to continue to look forward. I'm way excited to see what all is ahead of us! That is what I can remember of our 2009 Thanksgiving!!

December!! December was an awesome month and there was tons and tons that went on that I really can't remember all of it so I'll just write a little bit about Christmas this year and how awesome that was. Me and Cynthia were really excited to get everyone their gifts and after we got everyone their gifts we were impatient and wanting to give everyone their gifts weeks before Christmas, but no one would let us do that so we just had to wait, but on Christmas Eve we were able to give everyone their gifts and it was way awesome to be able to give everyone their gifts and see that everyone liked the gifts. We both are so grateful for our Families and all that they have done and continue to do for us. We're both way blessed to have the in-laws that we have and be able to get along with everyone so good. Christmas Eve we were able to give our parents their gifts and we got our parents the same thing so we were at Cynthias parents house and we were having them open their gift and it was a frame with pictures of the family and as soon as they started opening the frame I saw that the pictures in there were of my parents and i was like "Wait wait wait that one is my parents!" It was way funny and we were all laughing and we got them their frame and re-wrapped my parent and both of our parents really liked their gifts and have them hanging in their houses and they look way nice! Me and Cynthia were able to go to a Christmas concert down at the Conference Center and before we went to that we let each other open one gift and I let Cynthia open a skirt that I got her and she let me open this awesome coat that she got me! It was fun to be able to open one gift each since it was before Christmas. On Christmas we were able to open all of our gifts and we got really awesome stuff from both of our parents and our siblings and in-laws, it was a way awesome Christmas and we got to be with both of our families and that was awesome because I was able to get off work so I was able to have the full day to hang out the whole day and celebrate with everyone.

2010 is finally here!! Alright so I wrapped up the holidays, but I didn't add all the little details because there are so many things that I could keep writing about but really the holidays were Amazing and being able to spend it with the ones we love and being able to remember all things that we have to be Thankful for and remember the birth of Jesus Christ through the holidays. New Years Eve we did the countdown at Cynthia's parents house, I was at work and had to work until 11:30 P.M. so as soon as I was off I got in the car and got to my in-laws house as soon as I could and I made good timing and was able to eat and then do the countdown and ring in the New Year of 2010!! We pulled a bunch of little fireworks and yelled and celebrated with Sparkling Cyder! It was really fun and it's crazy to think that we are in 2010 now!! After doing the countdown we went up to my parents house and we were able to hang out there for a little bit and just talk and then we came home and the Holidays were officially over... 2009 was awesome and I wouldn't have changed a thing about it and so far 2010 has been Amazing too! This last weekend we went with Troy and Lacie to Fat Cats and we went bowling on a little double date type thing. It was way fun and since we had an hour wait to get a lane we went into the Pizza Factory and had some garlic bread and some bread twists, It was awesome because Mine and Cynthia's first date was to the Pizza Factory and then we bowled at Fat Cats so it was fun to be back there and do pretty much the same thing again. It was a way fun time! I'm way excited to see how 2010 plays out and see all that happens this year. I was blessed more than I could've thought possible in 2009 with finding Cynthia and being able to marry her and Everything that we've been able to do together and I couldn't be happier at all, I'm the luckiest guy in the world to have Cynthia as my wife and I'm so grateful for everything that I'm blessed with each and every day of my life. I'll be better at keeping up on the blog and letting you guys know what we're up to!

This month has been way fun! Just a few weeks ago Devin bought me the cutest pink Utah football shirt and bought himself one also so we wore them to the Jazz game that Melissa got us tickets to. It was way fun! We watched the game and after it was over we were leaving and decided to ask Thurl Bailey if we could take a picture with him and he was way nice and asked us to come back by his desk so we took a picture with him! On the way out there was also a bum panhandling and we didn't have change, so we gave him red vines that we had bought during the game, we only ate a few of them so we pretty much gave him the whole package. He started eating them as we left and even though it was something simple it felt good to know he actually ate them and was happy we gave them to him.

At the beginning of this week Devin went out while I was at work and bought me this way cute white coat because I only had one coat. When I got home from work Devin asked me to close my eyes and he put the coat on me and once it was on, he walked me to the bathroom and had me open my eyes and I saw the coat and loved it. The next day Devin came up and had lunch with me during my lunch break from work and had me do the same thing in the parking lot but this time it was a really pretty brown coat that he got me. I loved them both and especially because he picked them out and it means a lot to me he looked for them and picked them out for me! I am the luckiest girl and am so blessed to have such a sweet husband!

Just this weekend Devin let me know Friday night that he would be able to get off of work at noon on Saturday. With that we planned on Devin driving the jeep to work since he would only be there for a few hours. Right now we are sharing one car, usually Saturday's I drive Devin to work so I can get some stuff done during the day and then I pick him up from work when he is off. Well this Saturday, Devin drove to work and I just slept in, a few minutes later I woke up to Devin kissing me on the forehead. I was still half asleep so I was confused and asked Devin if he ended up not going to work. Devin then let me know that they just had him on the phones for 5 minutes and then they let him come home. On the way back from work he got us McDonald's and we had breakfast in bed, and then we got ready to go shopping. We bought our littlest nephew a cute Santa outfit and hat. And from there we took off to the Utes game. It was awesome, it was a little cold out but we got a close parking spot to the stadium and were able to watch the Utes win another game. After that we went to a movie with my brother in laws and father in law and my cousin, we watched A Christmas Carol, it was a way good movie, even though on some of the parts of the movie we didn't understand what they were saying. It was a fun filled day and week.

I am so excited for this upcoming 3 day work week and to spend Thanksgiving with my amazing husband and both our families. We are hoping Devin can get off of work that day but he is scheduled to work from 3 to 11 which I am sad about and he is too. But hopefully they can at least let him come home early. I am excited for the rest of this month and for all that is to come in December. I love Devin, he is my everything, and he completes me!!

Alright! We had a pretty fun weekend last weekend when we were able to go to the Jazz game, I don't even know if the Jazz won or not but look at the shirts we are wearing, I know the Utes won! I got us those shirts at JC Penney because i didn't have a Utah shirt and Cynthia didn't either. We were way excited when Melissa told us that she was able to get us tickets because we hadn't been to a Jazz game in a long time, so we got the recipe for Starbucks Caramel Apple Cider and Cynthia made us a big thing of it and we took it to the game so that when we got out of the game we could drink it on the way home and it was way good! The canteen thing that Cynthia got us kept it really hot the whole time and we had a nice drink for the way home. At the Jazz game it was pretty funny to see how into the game that people get that are sitting at the top and screaming at the players so me and Cynthia started yelling at the players too and we were having a really fun time at the game. My schedule just changed so we are getting more time together now and we're really liking it and having lots of fun just being able to be together more and just hang out and do whatever we end up doing, it's always pretty random things that we do because we dont really have things planned out much, but whatever we do is way fun because I'm always with my Best Friend and the love of my life when I'm with Cynthia. She's my everything and no matter what I do with her it's always fun. I'm still looking for a different job so that I can have even better hours that match up with Cynthias so we can be together more but so far its been really hard to find one, but the search is still on. The married life is just getting better and better and we know how blessed we are to have the families that we have and also the friends that we have and we know that God let us find each other at the perfect time and that we wouldn't change a thing about how our lives have turned out! On Sunday Cynthia got a message on her phone saying that she was going to be receiving a calling in the ward and so we were pretty anxious to hear what it would be so after all the meetings at church they called us in and she was called to be the Baby Specialist, neither of us had heard of that calling but we're both excited about it and excited to learn more about it. I'm so greatful to have such an amazing wife and to have all the amazing people that support us in our lives. Right now this is all I can think of, but I'm sure that Cynthia will be able to think of and remember more about things that have gone on. We'll try to keep updating this more often!

This month has been fun! Last weekend Devin and I were able to go to the Haunted Forrest and it was so cool!! yeah, it was pretty scary for me, I yelled a ton, but I had my handsome husband to hold me and keep me from freaking out! It was a lot of fun and we got to take lots of cool pictures, and it is so much fun to be able to go out and have a fun date night and then be able to come home and be able to enjoy our weekend together! This week we also went to go watch a scary movie and once again I hid my face against Devin's chest on pretty much all of the scary parts and covered my eyes with our hands and I don't think I let go of his hands once during the movie, I love it!! It is much fun to be able to plan things now that are Halloween themed and this weekend we are going to go pick out pumpkins and pumpkin carve and I am soooo excited!!

We have a fun rest of the month ahead of us and in just 5 days we have been married 2 months!! I can't wait for the holidays we will be able to get to spend together. This year we will be able to have our first Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years together and I cannot wait for all of it! Living life with Devin next to my side every day and night and even when I am away from him when we are at work, I can't believe how blessed I am to have him as my husband! He is the most amazing person and the most handsome guy! He treats me like a princess and he is, and always will be My Best Friend!

Also on Sunday Devin and I slept in until pretty late and I loved it!! Sunday is our one day we can actually sleep in together past 8 and then wake up when we need to get ready for church. I love how relaxing Sunday's are and that it is our one day we get to spend the whole day together! It is the Best! We were able to eat some breakfast burritos we made here at home after we woke up and Devin made this really good hot chocolate with this awesome hot chocolate maker he bought. After we ate we got ready and drove up the canyon and got to see how pretty the trees are with their changing leaves. We drove up and it was so relaxing. We also walked around and found some really cool spots to take pictures and we took fun pictures! It was perfect!

Right now we are in the process of finding Devin a job with early hours and we keep praying that the right one will come at the right time, I miss him so much when he works nights, but it is so nice that he can come home to me!! Devin is my other half, and he makes me the happiest person, he is Everything to me!

This past weekend was a really fun one for us. We were wanting to go on a drive up the canyon Saturday when I got off work but I had too big of a headache when I was at work so we just took a nap and then went and looked around at a couple stores, On Saturday night we went out to the Haunted Forest down in Pleasant Grove with Cynthias cousin and her husband and their friends. We had gone to Nightmare on 13th a couple weeks ago and we thought that it was a pretty good haunted house, but the Haunted Forest was a lot better and it didn't cost as much either. At first we just parked out in front of the haunted house while we were waiting for everyone else to get there and it looked like a high school hang out place so we just listened to music in the car and took some pictures. The line was way long to get in, but they had some shows that they put on for you while you waited in line. It was a way fun night going through the Haunted Forest and hanging out with Cynthias cousin and her husband and their friends. It was a way good haunted house and the actors were really good, they really seemed like they were crazy. It was a way fun night going to the Haunted Forest! Since we weren't able to go for a ride up the canyon on Saturday we took a drive up to Snowbird on Sunday afternoon, with it being fall the leaves were really bright and it was a really nice day out so we took the camera up there with us and took some pictures up there. It was a way fun drive just to hang out with my Amazing wife and just look at the mountains before they are covered with snow. It was a way nice and relaxing Sunday with the drive and then we came home and watched a movie together. This month has been a really fun one so far and we have some other stuff that we really want to do so we'll keep updating this and letting you guys hear and see the stuff that we're up to.

It has almost been two months since Devin and I got married, and every day has been amazing!! Being married to my Best Friend is amazing and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Devin is my everything!! It is crazy to look back to our first date, in February, and to think that at that time we had no idea that a few months later we would be married! I think after the first couple of weeks, we knew we had something that was going to last forever, but I personally thought it was too good to be true, but it is Real and the Best thing ever! We came into each other's lives at the right time, and got married at the right time too.

I can't believe how fast the time has gone and now we are married. When we got engaged the date that we set to get married seemed so far away, and as I think about it, it went way fast, and every bit of it has been so amazing! Now here we are living together in our little apartment and living our normal lives, with work, and paying bills together, getting to hang out together every day and getting to go to sleep together every night and wake up together every day, nothing could make me happier!! I am so fortunate to be blessed with such an amazing husband and amazing, supportive family, also amazing in laws!! It is more than I could ever ask for! I have the cutest little nephews, and niece and I feel I am the luckiest person in the world. I am also so blessed to have close family friends who we consider family and for the great friendships that have been built. I am so excited for all that is ahead of us and the best thing is, it just keeps getting better!!

Alright here it is, the first post on our new blog! We're pretty excited to start this thing and have some fun with it and be able to share the stuff that we're up to with all you guys. Hopefully we can keep this blog up and going and putting new things in it a lot. I'll start it off just by letting you all know what we've been up to since our wedding back on the 27th of August! On the 29th we were off on our honeymoon and we went on a 5 day cruise that was going to stop 2 days in Los Cabos, Mexico.... Well thank to a hurricane we were told the second day into the cruise that we would not be able to go to Los Cabos, but that we'd be going to Catalina Island!.... When I (Devin) heard that we were going to Catalina the first thing I told Cynthia is that there better be a Catalina, Mexico cause I knew that Catalina, California isn't anything special but sure enough the 3rd day we woke up and opened the window and I saw Catalina California!! haha I wasn't too excited but we got off the boat and went over to the Island. While we were on Catalina we stopped by all the stores but just looked cause everything was so expensive. We went to the grocery store and bought some chips and drinks and just took a lot of pictures while we were on the island. The second stop they were taking us to was Esenada, Mexico, we were told by the couple that we ate dinner with that it was pretty much Tijuana it was just spelled different so after hearing that it didn't sound like it was going to be too exciting of a place either but we got off the boat and just went to a couple stores right there off the boat. The cruise was a really awesome honeymoon though, even though the destinations we went to weren't Los Cabos we still had a lot of fun on it and the food on the boat and everything else was awesome too, its the most relaxing thing we have ever done and there wasn't one day that we didn't take a nap on the cruise. We did a lot of eating and sleeping on the cruise and we both want to go on another cruise sometime.

After the honeymoon we came home to reality and back to work and less play. We were finally able to start living in our apartment and we're lovin it! The people above us sound like they weigh 800 pounds sometimes but other than that its awesome and we're loving our first home. I'm still looking for another job and Cynthia is still at Altius working so nothing has changed with jobs here yet unfortunately, but we're getting by awesome and things are going great! We went to the Nightmare on 13th haunted house since halloween is coming up and that was crazy! It was a really good haunted house, the actors really seemed like they were crazy! Well other than that there isn't a whole lot of other things going on, we're just still living the married life and Lovin It! We're excited for our first Holiday Season together and we'll keep on trying to keep you guys posted on the new and hopefully exciting things that we'll be doing!
